Our LIFE as Catholics is completely surrounded by, and inescapably informed through, the Seven Sacraments.
The three facts below enforce the Catholic Sacramental Principle that God uses His physical Creation to bring about our spiritual Redemption and Eternal Salvation:

1. God the Son took on human flesh in the Person of Jesus Christ.
2. Grace builds on nature.
3. Jesus intended for certain material things to take on spiritual meaning.

In and through these Sacraments, human life is especially marked during important moments within our development and maturity.
