This 4th century Virgin and Martyr suffered death under the persecution of Diocletian at the age of twelve. She is the patron saint of Christian virtue.

This 16th-century virgin was orphaned at 10 and became the foundress of the first teaching Order especially for poor young girls; the Ursulines. She also sought to re-evangelize families through the education of future wives and mothers.
